After graduating from Great Valley High School and attending the Goldey Beacom School of business, Steve opened A&S Manufacturing on February 1st, 1991. In the beginning, the company had one punch press and operated in a 5000 sq. ft. building in the Port Richmond area of Philadelphia. Recognizing the need for growth, Steve brought on R. Mullen and Associates to help with the sales program. Since then, the company has expanded to two locations with close to 100,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing and office space. Today A&S operates with 4 HAAS screw machines with full auto feeders, which allows for 24/7 operations with 2 of the 3 shifts being unmanned. A&S Manufacturing currently has 7 presses, 5 horizontal milling centers (with pallet changers on 2 of the 5) and the 4 screw machines with auto feeders. Through it all, Steve has ensured that the company continues to grow through exceptional quality and service.
